I had the privilege of participating on the Tye Williams Radio show today from 2-3.  We talked about public service.  The effect the sagging economy is having on social services and charities.  As well as Frisco and our neighbors in the region.  I hope many of you were able to tune in.

Last night we got to speak to a very active, knowledgeable group at a campaign forum.  Early voting is coming on Monday and we are preparing for that.  I wanted to drop a quick mote to say thank you for your support, and the best part of this is the new friends that we have made along the way.

It has been a fantastic day today and we held an old fashion Americana style picnic at one of the jewels of Frisco, Frisco Commons Park.  We enjoyed the company and conversation with the hundreds of our friends and neighbors that were able to attend.

These last weeks have been very busy.  I have been at events and gatherings and met so many new and wonderful friends.  I am looking forward to the up coming candidate forums and hope to see many old and new faces there.  The most rewarding part about campaigning is meeting the new people.

Last weekend was the First Annual Lochrann's Paddy Dash charity event for the Frisco Family Services.  Even though it didn't look like the weather was going to cooperate, the rain let up and it was a fantastic event.  It was great to see all of the people that came out.

On Tuesday the 24th we held our kickoff event at Bonnie Ruth's.  The event was incredible, the company was great and I was especially honored when my friend Retired Rear Admiral Kevin Delaney offered to fly in to be with us for this event to kick it off.
